In the heart of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska, amidst the towering peaks of the Alaska Range and the pristine wilderness of the Kennicott Glacier, lies the abandoned Kennecott copper mine. Once a bustling mining town, Kennecott is now a ghost town, its crumbling buildings and rusting machinery a testament to the relentless march of time. But for decades, this remote and desolate place was home to a solitary figure, a hermit who became known as Jaspa Journey.

Jaspa Journey was a man of mystery. Little is known about his past, but it is believed that he came to Kennecott in the 1950s, drawn by the promise of a rugged and isolated life. He built a small cabin in the ruins of the town, and there he lived for decades, alone and content in his solitude.
