The Story

The film begins with a prologue set in 872 AD, when a Viking raid on Lindisfarne is interrupted by a massive tsunami. The tsunami destroys the Viking ships and kills many of the raiders.

Kristian, Sofia, and Sondre flee their home and head for higher ground. They are joined by a group of other survivors, including a doctor (Ingar Helge Gimle) and a nurse (Maria Grazia Di Meo).

The group travels through a devastated landscape, witnessing the destruction caused by the tsunami. They also encounter other survivors, some of whom are friendly and some of whom are hostile.
