Your Fathers, Where Are They? And the Prophets, Do They Live Forever?
The Bible is full of stories about people who lived long lives. Some of these people were righteous, while others were wicked. But even the most righteous people eventually died. So, what happens after we die? Do we simply cease to exist, or is there something more?

The Bible teaches that there is life after death. In fact, Jesus said that He came to give us life, and life to the full (John 10:10). This life is not just about our physical existence, but also about our spiritual existence. When we die, our souls go to be with God (Ecclesiastes 12:7).
But what about the wicked? Do they also go to be with God? The Bible says that they do not. Instead, they go to a place of eternal punishment called hell (Matthew 25:46).
The Fathers
The Bible tells us that our fathers were mortal men. They lived for a time, and then they died. But even though they are dead, they are still with God. The Bible says that they are in the presence of God, and that they are waiting for the day when they will be resurrected (Hebrews 12:1).
The fathers are not the only ones who are waiting for the resurrection. The Bible says that all of God's people will be resurrected, both the righteous and the wicked (John 5:28-29). The righteous will be resurrected to eternal life, while the wicked will be resurrected to eternal punishment.
The Prophets
The prophets were men who spoke God's word to His people. They were often persecuted and killed for their faith, but they never gave up on their mission. They knew that they were called to preach the truth, even if it cost them their lives.
The prophets are now with God, and they are waiting for the day when they will be resurrected. They will be resurrected to eternal life, and they will be given a place of honor in God's kingdom (Matthew 5:12).
Do the Prophets Live Forever?
The Bible does not say explicitly whether or not the prophets live forever. However, it does say that they are with God, and that they are waiting for the resurrection. This suggests that they will live forever in God's presence.
The prophets were men of faith, and they believed in the resurrection. They knew that they would one day be reunited with God, and that they would live with Him forever.
The Bible teaches that there is life after death. The righteous will be resurrected to eternal life, while the wicked will be resurrected to eternal punishment. The fathers and the prophets are now with God, and they are waiting for the day when they will be resurrected.
We can have hope in the resurrection, even though we do not know exactly what it will be like. We know that we will be with God, and that we will live with Him forever. This is a hope that can sustain us through the darkest of times.
